Cisco Adler Doubles Down
A known force in the studio for producing and writing hits as well as singing on recordings by Shwayze, Mike Posner, Mickey Avalon, Wiz Khalifa, G. Love and others, Cisco Adler released a six-song EP last summer followed by his first solo full-length album in late October. With the EP as well as the album titled Aloha, the discs were released on his own indie label Bananabeat Records.
But Adler doesn’t necessarily view Bananabeat as a mere record label. Instead, the artist considers his imprint a “lifestyle collective” striving “to make collaborative, career-defining works of art to help expose underground talent to the masses.”
His two upcoming tours reflect that philosophy with Adler venturing forth with up-and-coming artists he’s had the pleasure of working with. After a January gig with Tayyib Ali at West Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre, Adler gathers up Aer and Mod Sun for a run through East Coast cities plus Montreal and Toronto.
The 21-city “Road Trippin’” tour comes only 48 hours after playing Toronto and includes Mod Sun, Pat Brown and Tayyib Ali. Playing cities east of The Rockies, the tour launches in Chicago and includes stops in Colorado Springs, Denver, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Boston, Atlanta and San Antonio.
