Two new dates on the band’s agenda appeared on the app Friday morning, according to Rolling Stone. One was for the Dec. 27 screening of the documentary “The Rolling Stones: The Ron Wood Years” in Huntington, N.Y.

But it was the second date that attracted all the attention. For a short time the band was listing “April 12, Indio, Calif., Coachella.” Rolling Stone reports both dates were taken down by 10:30 a.m. EST Dec. 14.

But nothing ever vanishes from the Internet and fans kept the listing alive by posting it via Twitter, Facebook and other outlets.

Will The Rolling Stones play Coachella or was the listing just a scratch listing to fill some space and was never meant to see the light of day?

So far, there has been no confirmation or denial from the Stones camp and Goldenvoice has yet to even start talking about lineups for Coachella in 2013.

On the other hand, Rolling Stone reminds us that it was only a couple of months ago when Keith Richards told the magazine “once the juggernaut starts rolling, it ain’t gonna stop.”

Repeating its two-weekend replay plan, Coachella is scheduled for April 12-14 and April 19-21 at Indio’s Empire Polo Club.
