Allstar Weekend’s 2013 Weekend (& Weekday) Plans

The pop band will debut some of its brand new songs during its upcoming North American headline tour, scheduled in January and February. Allstar Weekend is beginning to record the tunes this month in Nashville thanks to fans who helped fund the project earlier this year via Kickstarter.

The album will be Allstar Weekend’s first full-length studio effort since leaving Hollywood Records. This summer the band put out an EP, The American Dream, as the first release under its own label, Diggit Records. Allstar Weekend’ most recent LP is its sophomore release, 2011’s All The Way.

The group hits the road for the headline tour Jan. 19 in Anaheim, Calif. The excursion features Cute Is What We Aim For and Tiffany Alvord.
