Pet Shop Boys get an assist from one of their biggest fans, The Killers’ Brandon Flowers, as they perform a career retrospective.

Actually, the newly announced gigs – June 18 at The O2 London and June 20 at Manchester Arena – aren’t the only dates on the Pet Shop Boys’ calendar. Previously announced is the duo’s participation in Spain’s Sonar Festival, playing Barcelona June 15.

Dates for Europe, Japan and the Americas will be announced shortly.

Promising the group’s first new live stage production since the “Pandemonium” tour, the Pet Shop Boys are working with producer/DJ Stuart Price who recently remixed the duo’s “Memory Of The Future.”

There are a couple of “Pandemonium” talents on hand for the “Electric Tour. Since then, creative director and set designer Es Devlin worked with Lady Gaga, Take That and Kanye West and Jay-Z and had a hand in the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony. Also from “Pandemonium” is stage director and choreographer Lynne Page.
