Concert Telethons On The ‘Net
Starting with a stripped-down acoustic performance by DeGraw, Stageit will connect you with artists performing to raise funds for Hurricane Sandy victims through Nov. 28. In planning the live webcasts, Stageit asked the artists where they would like to perform as well as which charity or charities they would like to help out.
Here’s the schedule. All times are EST.
Nov. 15
2:30 p.m. – Gavin DeGraw’s performance will benefit the American Red Cross. The top five tippers will receive signed copies of his new CD/DVD Sweeter Life, landing in stores Dec. 4.
6 p.m. – “American Idol” season 11 winner Phillip Phillips will perform from PS22 on Staten Island, N.Y., and will be joined by the school’s PS22 Chorus. Proceeds will benefit The Siller Foundation and the American Red Cross.
7 p.m. – Teddy Geiger in a performance benefiting the American Red Cross.
Nov. 21
8 p.m. – Carly Simon with son Ben Taylor and daughter Sally Taylor. Performing live from her living room, Simon and her children will invite fans to request songs and ask questions. Nov. 23
9 p.m. – Mike Viola performs with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross.
