Starring Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band In 2013
The next excursion will take Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band to New Zealand, Australia and Japan. Although Page, Rivera and Bissonette are veterans to the band, the North American summer tour was the first All Starr trek for Lukather and Rollie.
“The tour this summer was just GREAT – I love playing with this band and I can’t wait to get back out and play with them again,” Ringo said. “I am looking forward to revisiting Japan with the All Starrs and of course New Zealand and Australia. Peace & Love!”
Fans overseas can expect to hear “a jukebox worth of hits” from The Beatles and Starr such as “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Photograph,” “Little Help From My Friends,” “Yellow Submarine” and “Wings.” The setlist will also sample from the All Starrs’ catalogues, which include Toto’s “Rosanna,” Mr. Mister’s “Broken Wings,” Todd Rundgren’s “Hello It’s Me” and Santana’s “Black Magic Woman.”
Ringo says the Australian gigs will be announced next week. In the meantime, here are the dates confirmed so far:
