Features
One Stray Cat + One Polecat + One Guana Bat
In addition to his years with Stray Cats, Slim Jim’s resume includes playing with Phantom, Rocker and Slick as well as a stint with Jerry Lee Lewis. Tim Polecat, who recently released a solo album titled Virtual Rockabilly, has produced albums for other neo-rockabilly bands such as The Quakes and Wrecking Ball and also works as a film and soundtrack composer. Best known for his time playing with Get Smart and Guana Batz, U.K. psychobilly bassist Bowler has also worked with Lemmy, Nick 13 and Levi Dexter.
The Whammy has planned a December tour through California with a one-off date in Las Vegas thrown in. In February the band will visit Colorado, Missouri, Illinois and Minnesota.
The setlist on tour will combine a variety of Stray Cats and Polecats songs in addition to rockabilly classics, some more obscure hits and Whammy originals.
More dates are expected to be added in February.
