Waka Flocka Flame’s ‘Triple F’ Outing
You might want to refer to this tour as Waka Flocka Flame’s “Triple F” adventure if only because “Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family” tour is quite a mouthful and could result in thousands of tongues becoming tied if everyone keeps saying it over and over.
What’s Waka Flocka been up to since he completed Drake’s “Club Paradise” tour with 2 Chainz, J. Cole and Meek Mill? He just began working on the video for his next single, “Get Low.” Directed by Benny Boom, the vid features guest appearances by Nicki Minaj, Tya and Flo Rida.
Waka Flocka has also been working the Twitter-verse, having recently reached one million followers. Of course, his fans helped him, making the rapper the subject of 20 worldwide trending topics and achieving almost 20 million mentions in the past 30 days. Upon reaching his one millionth Twitter follower, Waka Flocka released the track listing and cover for his upcoming mixtape Salute Me Or Shoot Me.
The tour launches in Norfolk, Va., at the NorVa Oct. 2. Playing mostly clubs, theatres and ballrooms, stops include New York City, Philadelphia, Montreal, Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco before wrapping in Atlanta.
