Primus Announces 3D Tour

Primus will launch a fall tour that will feature “the first-ever traveling 3D-enhanced live musical performance.”

The band isn’t really saying much about the tour, other than each concert will feature two sets and will “provide a one-of-a-kind psychedelic experience” and will be “further enhanced” via Quad Surround Sound.

The band’s latest press blast is actually a tease for a future announcement. Primus promises that more information about the 3D-enhanced tour, along with the routing, will be revealed July 30.

Of course, you might be able to wrangle more info from Primus before that. The band is playing the Gathering Of The Vibes festival in Bridgeport, Conn., July 21.
