Last Stop Of The Night For Lady Antebellum
The reigning CMA and ACM “vocal group of the year” has been busy promoting the country band’s third studio album. The platinum-certified Own The Night debuted at No.1 and earned the Grammy Award earlier this year for “best country album.”
The last leg of the world tour begins Sept. 25 in St. Kilda at Palais Theatre. The other two stops of the Australian route are Sept. 28 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre and Oct. 1 at the Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall.
“We’ve been anxiously waiting to announce that we’re going back to Australia,” guitarist, pianist and mandolin player Dave Haywood said. “We were over there a little bit over a year ago with Keith Urban, and it was honestly one of the best experiences of our performing careers.”
Before the band heads Down Under, Lady A has a month of North American dates on the schedule in addition to nearly three weeks of European shows.
Tonight the trio will take the stage in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, at the Blossom Music Center, followed by a June 2 gig in Burgettstown, Pa., and a June 3 show in Canandaigua, N.Y. The North American leg wraps up with a June 30 set at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. The Europe tour kicks off with two nights in Dublin, Ireland, July 10-11 and runs through a July 27 show in Stockholm, Sweden.
Presale tickets for the Australian shows go on sale June 12. The general onsale is June 15 at 9 a.m. local time.
