Two Charged In Taylor Swift Scam
Two New York men accused of conning a Los Angeles businessman out of $375,000 for a fictitious Taylor Swift concert were arraigned March 22 on felony charges of grand larceny and possession of forgery.
Prosecutors say Derrick Robinson and Emmanuel Bentil, an attorney, allegedly convinced businessman Kachik Mouradian to invest in the March 2010 concert in Arizona by pretending to represent the country star.
The two allegedly gave Mouradian two documents between November 2009 to January 2010 with the forged signature of CEG Talent CEO Michael Schweiger of NYC asking for $1 million.

Officials said Mouradian got $150,000 of his investment back after confronting Bentil about the scam.
Bentil and Robinson deny the charges.
