Convince Lady Antebellum To Play Your Prom
In addition to a 45-minute performance by the country pop trio, the winner will also receive two meet & greet passes prior to the event.
If your high school prom is long past, you can still enter the “Own The Night Prom Contest” if you have a reunion prom coming up this year.

For a chance to win, you must create a YouTube video explaining why you and your hometown would love to host Lady A at your prom. The entries are being judged based on creativity, originality, school and hometown pride. Videos submitted to the contest may be featured on the band’s website or social network pages.
Lady Antebellum is putting on the contest to celebrate the spirit of the band’s latest single, “Dancin’ Away With My Heart.” The tune is featured on the trio’s third studio album, 2011’s platinum-certified Own The Night. Last month the album picked up the Grammy Award for best country album.
“‘Dancin’ Away With My Heart’ is one of those nostalgic songs that takes you back to a certain place or moment in time,” multi-instrumentalist/background singer Dave Haywood said. “The lyrics paint a pretty clear picture … you can picture the disco ball and remember back the last slow dance! We wanted to make someone’s prom extra special this year … we may even dress up! You just never know.”
After uploading contest entries to YouTube, you should email a link to the video to [email protected]. The email should include your name, the name of your school, the name of your town, your contact information and your school’s committee chair or event planner’s information.
The contest is open now and entries must be submitted by March 16. The winner will be announced March 20.
