Explosions In The Spring

Now that Explosions In The Sky are back from Europe, the Texas post-rock band is ready to announce a bunch of spring U.S. headline shows. 

The new dates kick off with two shows in Colorado – April 5 at the Boulder Theater, followed by April 6 at Grand Junction’s Mesa Theater & Club. The U.S. tour includes the band’s previously announced appearance at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., April 13 and April 20.

Explosions In The Sky will also play Salt Lake City’s In The Venue April 7; Missoula, Mont., at the Wilma Theatre April 8; Eugene, Ore., at the McDonald Theatre April 11; and San Francisco’s Palace Of Fine Arts Theatre April 16; and Backstage Live San Antonio in Texas April 24.

For now, the last date on the routing is the band’s May 25 set at Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Wash., at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

A few more shows will be added to the schedule. The band also promises that fans who don’t live in the western half of the United States can expect to see Explosions this summer.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, Feb. 11.
