The American Airlines jet landed in Wichita, Kansas, according to ABC News. No reason has been given for the passenger’s alleged actions that ultimately caused the diversion.
A member of the Augustines was onboard and tweeted the situation. The bandmember wasn’t identified and the band’s WeAreAugustines Twitter handle doesn’t name individual members.
Whoa. Emergency landing in Witchita. Passenger threatening the plane that he wants to kill people. Bad scene.
