Shooting At Slowdown
A 28-year-old man was fatally shot this weekend after a fight broke out inside a downtown Omaha nightclub near the end of a concert.

Omaha Police said Jamar Fields was wounded after 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Slowdown on the north edge of downtown.
Shots rang out after officers quieted the fight. Officers then found Fields with wounds in his torso and leg.
He died later at Creighton University Medical Center.
Detectives and forensic experts are investigating the homicide. No arrests had been made Sunday morning.
