Desaparecidos Cancels Remaining Dates

There is no joy in Florida today. Or, for that matter, Mississippi, Texas, Arizona and California. Illness has befallen Conor Oberst, forcing Desaparecidos to cancel its remaining tour dates.

Desaparecidos was supposed to play The Orpheum in Tampa tonight. But fans will need to find something else for an evening out. Turns out Oberst became ill while in Jacksonville, and was briefly hospitalized for laryngitis, anxiety and exhaustion. After consulting with doctors, the band decided to nix the remaining dates on the outing.
