Coheed And Cambria Unveils 2016 Schedule

Coheed and Cambria is supporting its eighth studio album, The Color Before the Sun, which was released Oct. 16.  The LP has the distinction of being the first collection of tunes the band has released outside Claudio Sanchez’s “The Amory Wars” comic book storyline.

All Music describes the LP as “utterly inspired and almost nakedly sincere.” The review notes that The Color Before The Sun focuses on frontman Claudio Sanchez’s own life events, including becoming a father, with “themes of adjustment, restlessness, defiance, and acceptance.” Standout tracks include “Peace to the Mountain,” which All Music calls “one of the most beautiful tracks Sanchez has ever written.”
