KISS Gets War Widows For ‘Roadies’

KISS has teamed up with Legacy Australia, which works with families of veterans, to enlist war widows as “roadies” for the band during its Australian tour.

From KISS' Facebook: Excitement building! ‪#‎KISS‬ fans SAS widow Naomi, Legatee Val KISS roadies today – Legacy Australia.

So its strategy downunder is to choose a war widow as KISS roadie for a day at each of the band’s seven arena shows Oct. 3-13.

At each show, Legacy will choose a woman to work in the VIP Packages area. They will prep the area, meet and host fans at an afternoon acoustic session, and help manage band photo ops.

Legacy Australia chairman David Gray said, “We can’t thank KISS enough for the support they are giving our organisation. These ladies have made such a huge sacrifice and it is fabulous we are offering them something very, very, special in return.”
