Hart, Kreutzmann & Weir Form ‘Dead & Company’
The Oct. 31 show at Madison Square Garden will consist of two sets with most of the material drawn from The Grateful Dead songbook. Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well / RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti are also on board.
“Fare Thee Well proved to me that I’m not done exploring new rhythmic territory with Mickey – I’m recommending that everyone puts their helmet on, because we are going to blast our way into some serious drums and space,” Kreutzmann said. “And with Mayer riding shotgun with Weir – we’re in good company, so to speak.”
Top-tier tickets will be priced under $100. There will also be an allotment of tickets priced at $50 in celebration of The Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary.
