A post on Facebook proclaims “We’re making history with this tour – who’s gonna come out and join us??”

Vocalist Colin Blunstone and vocalist/keyboardist Rod Argent are reuniting with bassist Chris White and drummer Hugh Grundy to perform Odessey and Oracle in its entirety. The fall outing is the first time the 1968 album has been performed on U.S. stages.

The only original member missing from the tour is guitarist Paul Atkinson, who died in 2004. The upcoming excursion will feature the 1962-1967 lineup along with the current touring members, which include guitarist Tom Toomey, bassist Jim Rodford and drummer Steve Rodford.

The Zombies raised funds for its upcoming album, Still Got That Hunger, via a PledgeMusic campaign. The band’s PledgeMusic page says the LP is due out in September. In other Zombies news, the band is once again working with Terry Quirk, who created the artwork for Odessey and Oracle.
