Lil Boosie No-Show
Club owner Ernest Shepherd told WMGT-TV he’s going to file a lawsuit against both Lil Boosie and promoter MBP Promotions.
Concertgoers caused more than $500 worth of damage inside of the club when they found out that Lil Boosie wasn’t coming, according to WMGT.
Shepherd said he got confirmation via telephone the day before that the artist was coming and an email the next morning from MBP stating that everything was worked out with Lil Boosie’s probation and the show would go on, the TV station said.
“He knew when he signed the contract, that he would not be able to fulfill the contract due to his probation agreement,” Shepherd told the TV station. “He misled the promoters, it was out of our control. It’s not the club’s fault, the only one you can apply it to, is Boosie. When an artist backs out, it puts a hurting on the business.”
Shepherd added that even though he understands why the attendees were mad, they shouldn’t have taken it out on the venue.
