Toni Braxton Headed Down Under

Toni Braxton will soon embark on a first in her career – a brief tour through Australia, along with a stop in New Zealand.

“I’m so excited about touring in Australia & New Zealand for the FIRST time ever!” Braxton posted on Facebook. “It’s been way too long, I promise you it will be worth the wait! We are going to have some special, unforgettable nights!”

A poster promises that fans can expect an “unforgettable night of songs you love.”

Leading up to the outing, Braxton has a few U.S. dates booked in July, including special guest Joe. The R&B singer plays Philadelphia July 23 and Merrillville, Ind., July 25. Here’s the plan for Australia:

Sept. 9 – Mt. Claremont, Australia, HBF Stadium   
Sept. 11 – Melbourne, Australia, Hamer Hall
Sept. 13 – Sydney, Australia, Concert Hall @ Sydney Opera House           
Sept. 14 – Brisbane, Australia, QPAC Concert Hall
Sept. 17 – Auckland, New Zealand, Logan Campbell Centre          

Tickets go on sale July 9.

Braxton has also booked a show in Moscow Nov. 9. We’ll have to wait and see if she announces more European dates.
