Odds & Ends: Steven Tyler, Mötley Crüe, Kenny Chesney

After a Steven Tyler performance in West Windsor, N.J., showed up on a few concert sites, the owner of Windsor Farm & Market was forced to tell the press and fans that the Aerosmith frontman would not be stopping by May 30.

“We have no idea how this happened and apologize to any one who saw this online,” the pick-your-own strawberry farm posted on its Facebook page. “We are open for Strawberry picking this weekend but Steven Tyler will not be participating.”

Owner Wayne Kalinowski told NJ.com that Tyler is “welcome to come anytime he wants.” That being said, he noted he couldn’t pay him to perform.

To help get the word out, Kalinowski contacted local police, who sent an email alert saying the show wasn’t happening.

Lt. Robert Garafolo told NJ.com that rather than criminal intent, “It just seems to be a screw up.” He said he couldn’t purchase tickets on the sites that had been listing the concert – ReverbNation.com and Eventful.com.

Less time to tailgate before a show means less trash left behind, right? Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field is about to find out when it hosts Kenny Chesney on Saturday.

Fans at Chesney’s 2013 show – who were allowed to enter the stadium lot at 10 a.m. –   left behind more than 45,000 pounds of garbage, including human waste, according to the Associated Press.

The lots at this weekend’s show will open at 1 p.m., just four hours before the concert. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette points out that Heinz Field released a “Parking Lot Code of Conduct,” with rules ranging from “guest must follow direction of lot staff” to “personal Port-a-Johns are prohibited.”

Chesney’s Big Revival Tour show features performances from Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Chase Rice and Old Dominion.

Mötley Crüe is once again calling on fans to vote on the itinerary for its final tour – “All Bad Things Must Come To An End.” In April the band added more North American dates to the trek, following input on social media, and now the group is asking you to #DemandtheCrue in Europe.
