Jackson Browne Tour ‘Breaches’ Into Fall

Supporting Standing In The Breach, Browne’s new destinations include Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston and Phoenix.

Browne will be backed by his longtime band featuring bassist Bob Glaub, drummer Mauricio Lewak, keyboardist Jeff Young, harmony vocalists Chavonne Stewart & Alethea Mills and Greg Leisz on guitar, lap steel and pedal steel.

For his September-October run Browne is welcoming husband & wife duo Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, who are releasing their self-titled debut album in June. With his wife singing in Levon Helm’s group, Campbell spent seven years working with the legendary drummer/vocalist of The Band and served as Helm’s bandleader and producer, an alliance that earned three Grammys for the multi-instrumentalist.

Joining Jackson Browne’s tour widens Campbell’s and Williams’ 2015 concert plans.  The duo has lined up headlining shows in places like Chicago and Nashville and will play with Hot Tuna in July.  We’ll take a look at their tour later today, and post an interview the couple sometime mid-week.

“I’m thrilled to be touring with Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams,” Browne said. “We played together at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble a few years ago, and I’ve been waiting for the chance to play with them again ever since.  Larry has played in some of my all-time favorite bands, and I’m excited to hear what he brings to my songs as this tour unfolds.  Teresa and I have a great vocal blend, as does she and Larry, and I’m looking forward to what happens when we introduce these longtime favorites of mine into my body of songs.”
