A Few More Nights With Modest Mouse
The band fronted by singer/guitarist Isaac Brock is putting in plenty of time on the road this year in support of its first new album in eight years. Strangers To Ourselves was released in March on Epic.
Last week Modest Mouse stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to perform the track “The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box.”
The new batch of gigs is slotted in between festival appearances at Maha Music Festival in Omaha, Neb., Aug. 15 and an Aug. 23 stop at MusicFest NW in Portland, Ore. Additional festival appearances in the next few months include Sasquatch! in Quincy, Wash.; Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Del.; Poland’s Open’er Festival and Scotland’s T In The Park.
