The Milk Carton Kids Announces Fall Headline Tour

The Milk Carton Kids is following up 2014’s sold-out 55-city tour with a busy fall schedule that boasts the biggest and most prestigious venues of the duo’s career. Stops on the excursion includes New York City’s Town Hall, Los Angeles’ Theatre At Ace Hotel and Atlanta’s Symphony Hall.

“We’re very excited for this tour, having been assured that none of the rooms we’re playing will have beer fridges that are louder than the PA,” Joey Ryan said.

Ryan and his partner in crime, Kenneth Pattengale, have moved up to bigger venues thanks to word of mouth, the power of the indie folk act’s live show and rave reviews from publications and folks like Garrison Keillor, who says, “The Milk Carton Kids are absolute geniuses in close harmony and pick up where the Everly Brothers left off.”

The Milk Carton Kids’ new album, Monterey, is due out May 19. The LP was recorded on the road last year on stages of theaters and churches across North America to capture the energy of the live show.
