The Desired Effect is set for release May 19 via Island Records. The Killers’ frontman worked on the album with producer Aril Rechtshaid and a long list of musicians including Bruce Horsby, The Dirty Projectors’ Angel Deradoorian, Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant, Killers’ Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and Haim’s Danielle Haim

Fans who preorder The Desired Effect will get first dibs on tickets via a presale that begins April 22. The deluxe CD bundle comes with a T-shirt, autographed CD and two bonus digital tracks – “The Desired Effect” and “Btwn Me ‘N U” – that will be not be available in any other U.S. digital or physical format.

All preorders come with the instant grat track “Still Want You.” Last week Flowers released a video for the tune, which was directed by Warren Fu.

“I was immediately drawn to this song when I first heard it … It is so catchy, but a bit left field sonically, a strange concoction of rock/gospel,” Fu said, according to Noisey. “When I heard the chorus I pictured hands in front his face doing see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil type moves. When I showed [producer] Ariel Rechtshaid an early edit he said he loved it but, ‘put more hands. It’s iconic.”
