Jeff Dunham Extends Vegas Residency

Walter wants to know, “What the hell’s so funny?” Well, Jeff Dunham’s Las Vegas residency is so hilarious that he’s extended his stay due to demand. The comedian/ventriloquist has announced new dates spanning June through October.

Walter, of course, is everyone’s favorite grumpy retiree. That old curmudgeon will be sticking around Sin City along with Dunham’s other sidekicks – Achmed the Dead Terrorist, José Jalapeño on a Stick, Bubba J and Little Jeff, the funnyman’s mini me. And then there’s Peanut, who is simply described by Dunham’s PR reps as a “manic purple creature.”

After all, the Guinness World Records recently named Dunham the record holder for “most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour” based on his “Spark of Insanity” trek, which sold 1,981,720 tickets and played 386 venues. Or maybe you’ve seen one of his videos, which have exceeded a half a billion views on YouTube.

Dunham’s Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino began in November. Previously announced dates are scheduled March 25-29 and throughout April and May.
