Changes: Fleetwood Mac, Sting / Paul Simon
European fans of Sting and/or Paul Simon are probably feeling more than a little grumpy over the news that Friday night’s gig at Poland’s Krakow Arena and Saturday’s show in Prague, Czech Republic, at the O2 are canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The word earlier this week was that the shows were merely postponed and were going to be rescheduled. So the most recent announcement is not what fans were expecting.
Blame it on Sting. Or, more specifically, blame it on Sting’s bout with the flu keeping him at his New York City home while recuperating.
Refund information can be found at Sting.com.
Illness has also cast its infectious shadow on Fleetwood Mac, although no one is specifying which band member is ailing.
What is known is that the band postponed last night’s show in North Little Rock, Ark. Fleetwood Mac’s “On With The Show” tour is now scheduled to play that city’s Verizon Arena April 19.
But that’s not all, folks. Tonight’s gig at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City has been rescheduled for April 17.
Tickets for both shows will be honored on the new dates.
