The Waterboys Bring You ‘Modern Blues’
Saying The Waterboys’ lineup has varied through the years would definitely be an understatement. More than 70 musicians have appeared in the band since Scott founded the group in 1983. The upcoming tour includes musicians from Modern Blues, such as Muscle Shoals bassist David Hood, guitarist Zach Ernst, drummer Ralph Salmins, keyboardist Paul Brown and longtime Waterboys fiddler Steve Wickham. Here’s a taste of the album via the video for “November Tale.”
Already released in the United Kingdom, Modern Blues arrives April 7 in the U.S. via Harlequin and Clown/Kobalt. The tour starts only days after the album’s release. Here’s the schedule.
