Peter Frampton & Cheap Trick Join Forces

The fella that brought you hits like “Show Me The Way,” “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “I’m In You” is hitting the road this summer with the band responsible for tunes such as “Surrender,” “I Want You To Want Me” and “The Flame.”

Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick have a dozen dates lined up together between June and August. The outing includes gigs in Scottsdale, Ariz.; Kansas City; New York; Boston; and Toronto.

But first Cheap Trick is headed to Australia. The February-April excursion Down Under features “A Day On The Green” appearances and shows with The Angels as well as Billy Idol. You can also catch the rock band at MotoGP Championship in Austin; Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Fla.; and and Carolina Rebellion in Concord, N.C.

Tickets for many shows are on sale now. An American Express cardmember presale is going on now for select dates. Additional presales are scheduled Thursday.

General onsales for Canandaigua, New York and Mashantucket begin Friday, Jan. 30. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Jan. 31 for Scottsdale. Presales for St. Louis are scheduled Feb. 18-19, followed by the general onsale Feb. 20.
