UFC officials told the Las Vegas Review-Journal they expect to stage six fight events at the arena each year. An opening event has yet to be announced for the building.
Though Vegas was once a gambler’s paradise, more visitors are seeking entertainment outside of casinos and MGM representatives explained the company has started rethinking entertainment by offering festival sites and a park and plaza along the strip, the Review-Journal said.
