Foo Fighters Take The Highway Downunder
The rockers will be hitting up major cities such as Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. Previously announced international stops on the world trek include South Africa, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Columbia. So far, the only U.S. gig on the 2015 schedule is the big Wrigley Field show in Chicago Aug. 29.
The band does have a few U.S. performances coming up in the very near future. On Halloween Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium is hosting a screening of the act’s new TV documentary, “Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways,” at 10 p.m., followed by a Foo show at 11 p.m. On Sunday you can catch Dave Grohl & Co. at New Orleans’ Voodoo Experience.
Airing on HBO, “Sonic Highways” showcases the band’s process of recording its upcoming eighth studio album in different cities across the States. The LP, which shares the same name, is due out Nov. 10.
