SNH48 Video Banned
A music video purportedly showing two girls in an intimate relationship has reportedly been banned in South Korea.
The video is for a song called “Uza” by the Chinese girl group SNH48, which is a Shanghai spinoff of the enormously popular Japanese all-girl idol collective AKB48.
In the video, two of the members are seen caressing and embracing. The video was available online for three days and then suddenly vanished.
It was shot in South Korea and directed by Hong Won-ki, who has directed videos for a number of top K-pop acts.
