Pop Evil’s ‘Set In Stone’ Winter
Pop Evil has been racking up the mileage this year, and the group has more to go before it rests, if ever. Following an October run through the Southern states, Pop Evil will cross the ocean for shows in Europe, return to these shores in November for a gig in Flint, Mich., and then launch the newly announced tour which wraps Dec. 20 in the band’s Grand Rapids, Mich., home stomping grounds. The band is supporting its 2013 album, Onyx, which recently passed the 100,000 mark for copies sold domestically.
“For the past year and a half we have taken Pop Evil to new heights with Onyx,” frontman Leigh Kakaty said of the long player that contains three number one singles on Active Rock Radio – “Trenches,” “Deal With The Devil” and “Torn To Pieces.”
“It’s now time to conclude this incredible journey and prepare for the next chapter in 2015!” Kakaty added. “We are looking forward to celebrating our biggest album yet and seeing everyone out on the upcoming tour to share in the festivities!”
