One Offs: Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga

Neil Diamond is performing in New York tonight with a small allotment of tickets going on sale later today. Meanwhile, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga have designated a post-Grammy evening in February for some Cheek To Cheek action.

Diamond will take the stage at Erasmus Hall in his ol’ hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y. A posting on his Facebook page says “a very limited amount of tickets” will go on sale at 3 p.m. EDT today. The posting also asks fans to refrain from lining up before the onsale. We’ll see how that goes.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga have designated Feb. 8 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles for a post-Grammy event filled with jazz standards in promotion of the singers’ Cheek To Cheek LP. The show is scheduled to being at 9:30 p.m. PDT, right after the 57th annual Grammy Awards rocks the Staples Center.

“We are thrilled to present this very special show particularly on a night that acknowledges greatness in music,” said Arthur Fogel, Live Nation president of global touring / chairman of global music.

Both artists’ fan clubs will launch presales Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. PDT running through Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. PDT. Citi will hold a presale for its cardmembers beginning Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. PDT.
