Industry Noize: Live Nation Group Wins Nashville Shed

A group led by Live Nation has been selected as facility operator of Nashville’s future riverfront amphitheatre, which is expected to open next year.

Live Nation got the contract over Ryman Hospitality and it had plenty of backup. The facility management group is Live Nation, Red Light Management, Green Light Media & Marketing, New Era Media & Marketing, the Nashville Predators and the Nashville Symphony, according to the Tennessean.

Metro Purchasing still needs to negotiate the contract with the Live Nation group, according to the paper.

The shed is expected to have a seating capacity of 6,800. The Live Nation group will report to the Metro Parks and Recreation board of directors, according to the Tennessean.
