Industry Noize: New Huntsville Shed

Huntsville, Ala., will soon have a new 2,000-capacity amphitheatre to replace a school that’s sat empty for several years. 

Plans for the venue call for converting part of the school into a 40,000-square-foot brewery for Straight to Ale, another part into a 6,000-square-foot brewery for Yellowhammer, with the amphitheater set in the middle.

Officials hope the beer and music will help breathe new life into the city’s downtown area. The project is expected to be completed within 12-18 months.
