Melvins Hit The Road
Arriving Oct. 14, Hold It In includes former Butthole Surfers bassist Jeff Pinkus. But Pinkus isn’t the only Surfer on the album. BHS co-founder Paul Leary is also on the long-player. Pinkus, who toured with The Melvins in 2014, will be on the upcoming outing.
“Hold It In is a refreshing piece of fiction in a boring world of fact and bullsh*t,” said Melvins singer/guitarist Buzz “King Buzzo” Osborne in a posting on the band’s website. “Paul is one of the best guitar players I have ever heard and Pinkus has an outside the box type of approach to both guitar and bass that you just have to let it ride. I can’t believe this actually happened. I’m thrilled.”
