First-Ever Source360 Expo Set For September

Pioneering hip hop publication The Source and its parent company The NorthStar Group will present the very first Source360 Expo in New York featuring a concert, conference and other events Sept. 19-21.

Planned as a celebration of The Source’s 25th anniversary as well as a testament to hip hop’s influence on just about everything under the sun, Source360 Expo will offer art exhibits, film screenings, tech summits and, of course, music.  Events will take place at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy Of Music, Long Island University and at locations throughout Brooklyn’s cultural district.

The Source and NorthStar are promising that Source360 will give attendees access to “top industry leaders, influencers, enthusiasts and brands.” Run DMC, Wu Tang Clan, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Common, Spike Lee, Danny Simmons and MC Lyte are just some of the names being mentioned in this week’s announcement.  A full-scale concert is planned for Barclays Sept. 20.
