Slightly Stoopid’s Mayan Adventure

It’s never too early to begin thinking about a winter getaway. Of course, along with sun, sand and surf you’ll need plenty of music.  Slightly Stoopid and Cloud 9 Adventures have just the thing to cure those seasonal doldrums brought about by overcast skies, freezing temperatures and snow that must be shoveled.  They’re calling it “Closer To The Sun” – a four day stay at the Now Sapphire Resort, located on the beaches of Puerto Morelos in Riviera May, Mexico, Dec. 16-20.

Right now the plan calls for Slightly Stoopid to perform two full shows plus one acoustic gig, plus Citizen Cope, Steel Pulse, G. Love & Special Sauce and Dirty Heads will also play two shows each.  Special guests include Karl Denson plus others yet to be named.

Or, as Slightly Stoopid said in a band statement, “Gonna be killer times with great friends!”
