Bill Young’s Dedication Video
Bill Young, 74, founder of Bill Young Productions, died after a battle with lung disease May 31.
Young founded the audio and video production company in 1981, beginning with radio commercials.
Young ventured into country music videos and television campaigns before the company evolved into a concert video production company, filming the first-ever HD multi-cam concert with George Strait in Florida.
Footage from the event became the showcase content Sony used to illustrate the qualities of their cameras. Young’s memoir is titled “Dead Air – The Rise and Demise of Music Radio.”
