Tye Tribbett’s HOB Run
The Franklin-named outing is the result of a collaboration between the music icon and House Of Blues Entertainment with the aim of creating a new national gospel tour.
Acclaimed as the “Elvis Of Gospel,” Tribbett has two No. 1 albums as well as three Grammy noms under his belt. His latest No. 1 long player is 2013’s Greater Than. Faith Hill, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige and John Mellencamp are among the artists Tribbett has worked with through the years.
And now he’s going out with Franklin’s seal of approval. Franklin will choose the support act for each date.
“This is a great chance to share the gift of a spectacular talent like Tye with gospel fans throughout the country in a fresh new show that is unlike any production we’ve ever seen,” Franklin said. “It will be a special experience,”
