Nashville-based promoter Outback Presents has hired Taylor Freeman as show coordinator, effective immediately.
Freeman joined WME in 2011 as an agent assistant before moving to concert promotion and talent buying in 2015, most recently at Big Spring Entertainment as head talent buyer.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work for a lot of great people in this business, and I am very excited to get to work with Mike Smardak and the group at Outback,” says Freeman. “These guys are making some exciting moves, and I consider myself very fortunate to be a part of it.”
Freeman can be contacted at [email protected].
Outback Presents is an independent, full-service concert and comedy promoter that produces hundreds of concerts and events each year, along with producing the Nashville Comedy Festival.
The company was No. 32 on Pollstar’s 2019 Year End Top 100 Promoters chart based on worldwide ticket sales reported to Pollstar, with 824,750 tickets reported, for more than $55 million grossed.
The company has been making lots of public moves in recent weeks, with the announcement of Benton Wharton as talent buyer and Jenny Reid as ticketing manager, just in December.
