Dubai Jazz Festival Confirms Miss Lauryn Hill, Lionel Richie, One Republic As Headliners
Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival Presented By Mastercard will return to the Media City Ampitheatre for its 18th annual edition, Feb. 26-28.
Promoter Done Events has confirmed all three headliners: Miss Lauryn Hill (Feb. 26), Lionel Richie (Feb. 27), who will be supported by Spyro Gyra, and One Republic (Feb. 28), supported by Sammy Miller & The Congregation.
Returning to the Media City Amphitheatre, the Festival will take place between 26th – 28th February. Artists will be announced from tomorrow with full press releases/artist imagery etc being provided accordingly.
“What a line-up,” commented Girish Bhat, managing director of Done Events, “We are incredibly proud of the not only our Festival headliners but an amazing set of support acts. We can’t wait to see everyone there for what will be an incredible three nights of music.”
Snowbombing: Second Wave Of Artists Confirmed
Snowbombing has announced the second wave of acts set to perform at the alpine resort of Mayrhofen, Austria, April 13-18, 2020. It includes Alan Fitzpatrick, Claptone, Solardo, Sonny Fodera and more.
In addition, U.K. event series Propaganda is bringing indie vibes to Snowbombing for the first time in 2019. Bands that perform at Snowbombing 2020 as part of “Propaganda Presents” include Reverend And The Makers, as well as Ash.
Last but not least a full bill of stand-up acts featuring Tez Illyaz, Terry Alderton, Markus Birdman, Barry Castagnola and Abigoliah Schamaun, will take the stage during the event.
Bon Iver At Flow Festival Finland
Flow Festival, which takes place in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, Aug. 14-16, 2020, has announced Bon Iver as its first headliner.
It’s the third Nordic festival Bon Iver will perform at next summer, following Oya Festival in Oslo, Norway (Aug. 12), and and Way Out West in Gothenburg, Sweden (Aug. 13).
Bon Iver also announced a European run, which commences April 15 at Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, and ends May 3 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Will perform at Wacken Open Air for the first time in 2020
Slipknot To Headline Wacken For The First Time
Wacken Open Air has announced Slipknot as the first headliner for 2020, when the festival takes place July 30-Aug. 1 in Wacken, Germany.
It marks the first performance at the world-famous metal gathering for Slipknot.
Wacken co-founder Thomas Jensen commented: “We are thrilled and admittedly a little proud that one of our great musical dreams will finally come true next year, when Slipknot will be on stage for the first time at the Wacken Open Air.
“We are also glad for this opportunity to state once again that being sold out is never a reason for us to stop working on delivering a great billing. We would like to thank our fans for their continued trust and hope that this announcement will be as great for them as it is for us.”
Wacken Open Air traditionally starts selling tickets the day after the festival ends. This year, it took fans only 21 hours to snatch up all of the available 75,000 tickets for the 31th edition of Wacken, July 30-Aug. 1, 2020.
