Former AEG Presents exec Adam Lublin was indicted in New York City Nov. 4 on a third count of first-degree sexual assault. The former Young Thug and Kodak Black manager is accused by a former AEG co-worker of a 2015 attack, according to local news reports.
“With respect to the November 22nd, 2015 incident, the defendant sexually assaulted a sleeping coworker,” the Manhattan District Attorney’s office alleged Nov. 4 in a bail application document reported by Rolling Stone. “When she awoke to the defendant’s non-consensual touching, the Complaining Witness confronted the defendant immediately, waking up her friend who was sleeping in the room with her. She immediately reported what the defendant did to that friend and told others in the days that followed. The incident was also investigated by HR.”
“The complaining witness woke up when she felt the defendant’s fingers inside her vagina,” Assistant DA Ryan Hayward said, according to the New York Post.
Lublin – who formerly worked at First Access Entertainment and AEG Presents as Sr VP, Talent and Touring – was charged in September with burglary and sexual abuse after a neighbor accused him of breaking into her apartment, sexually assaulting her and stealing several pairs of underwear.
Lublin attorney Scot Leemon issued the following statement to Pollstar: “One of the backbones in our legal system is the presumption of innocence. That important presumption is deep routed in our history and was created to stop others from jumping to conclusions. Today, Adam will rely on that presumption of innocence. Out of respect for the system we will not make any further comment at this time.”
According to Pollstar’s directories records, AEG Presents notified Pollstar in July 2018 that Lublin had left the company.
