Fireplay announced the addition of Chris Gratton as account director.
Multi-disciplinary creative and design studio Fireplay continues to grow its team and operation.
The company announced the addition Friday of Chris Gratton as account director to lead its West Coast office. The seasoned live veteran has been in the industry for 30 years, and most recently served as Justin Bieber’s production manager, co-designer and director of touring.
“I am thrilled that Chris has joined the team,” says Fireplay’s Nick Whitehouse, who founded the company in 2017. “Fireplay is known for delivering cutting-edge creative and delivering it in a package designed to tour. Chris’s talent, reputation and ability to manage, design and successfully deliver seemingly impossible productions is second to none.
“He is an integral part of our process designed to improve our ability to provide a turnkey service to our clients ultimately delivering unique world leading creative that’s economically smart and designed within the constraints of the venues,” Whitehouse continued.
In his role, Gratton will help to ensure the execution of Fireplay’s touring work from inception to realization, by analyzing everything from venues and routing to rigging and shipping to budgets and logistics.
Late last month, Fireplay announced the addition of designer Dom Smith, who has worked with Billie Eilish, Thom Yorke and more, as well as a new Nashville office.
Fireplay’s many clients include Justin Timberlake, Carrie Underwood, Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Jason Aldean, James Taylor, Thomas Rhett, The Killers and Little Big Town.
“We’re trying to create an industry where you work together,” Whitehouse told Pollstar in a 2018 interview. “When you work together you get better creative and you get better results.”
