2 Chainz Acquires Stake In Atlanta’s A3C Festival & Conference

2 Chainz is showing some love to his home town by acquiring a stake in Atlanta’s A3C Festival & Conference and joining its new ownership group.
In a statement on social media Sept. 27 announcing the news, the festival explained, “He will be a creative curator and advisor involved in developing the experience in 2019 and for years to come. We’re celebrating 15 years in less than 2 weeks… It’s A VIBE!”
A3C takes place Oct. 8-13 at the Atlanta Convention Center with performances and experiences from more than 1,000 artists celebrating hip-hop. The event features keynotes, panels, workshops, mixers and sessions with innovators and thought-leaders in music, tech, social justice and entertainment.
“It’s been more than time for something in Atlanta for Atlanta by atlanta’ns so I put my money where my mouth is and joined the ownership group of A3C Festival,” 2 Chainz said in a statement. “I’m more than excited to help grow and curate the festival into its own one of a kind hub for music, tech, film/Tv. Now get your passes for this year it’s almost that time.”
In a video posted on Facebook he added, “I am one of the co-owners of the a3c, the festival, the biggest festival soon to be on the planet. A3c is a celebration, it’s about music, tech, film, culture and you know Atlanta is the bed for that, it’s about entrepreneurship, it’s about education, it’s about entertainment.”
The rapper, who was born in the Atlanta suburb College Park, Ga., is participating in a keynote discussion at A3C Oct. 12 alongside Dapper Dan about the history of the intersection of hip hop and fashion.
The lineup for A3C includes author/entrepreneur Gary “Gary Vee” Vaynerchuk, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Yasiin Bey, E-40, Lil Keed, YG, radio presenter / TV personality Charlamagne Tha God, Megan Thee Stallion, Roc Nation Senior VP of A&R and artist management Lenny S, former Georgia representative / governor nominee Stacey Abrams, Endeavor CMO Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and more.
