It’s a touring Who’s Who atop Pollstar’s weekly LIVE75 chart with appearances by some of 2019’s biggest headliners – from industry legends to today’s up-and-comers. Nine of the Top 10 are repeaters, including Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones who head up the tally at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, for a second consecutive week. Eight of the artists return for another stint in the Top 10 after landing there just one week ago – and Coachella headliner Ariana Grande returns after a four-week absence – but one newcomer makes his first stand.

Enter Khalid, who debuts on the chart at No. 9 based on a ticket sales average of 11,833 from four performances at U.S. arenas during the first stretch of dates on his “Free Spirit” world tour. The first show on the trek reported to Pollstar was his Las Vegas performance at MGM Grand Garden Arena June 22 with 10,470 sold seats. The next night he played San Diego’s Pechanga Arena for 10,320 fans and then headed to Northern California the following weekend for concerts at Oracle Arena in Oakland June 28 and Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on the 29th. The sold ticket count at Oakland was 13,252 and just 40 tickets more than that in Sacramento. The Live Nation-produced tour averaged $820,016 in grosses from the four venues.

Scrolling down to No. 19, Billie Eilish also makes her first chart appearance based on an average of 7,163 sold tickets at three shows on the world tour supporting her March release, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? The pop artist sold out shows at Place Bell in Laval, Que., New York’s Radio City Music Hall and The Anthem in Washington, D.C., for an average gross of $387,864.

Tagged as the NOISE MAKER touring artist, The Marcus King Band jumps six positions to take the No. 43 ranking after landing 49th on the July 15 chart. The South Carolina-based rock band has had 20 club dates reported to Pollstar so far during an active year on the road that includes headlining shows, festival appearances as well as a string of summer dates opening for the Chris Stapleton tour. The band is one of only three acts with upward movement on the chart outside of the Top 10. The other two are Liverpool’s Pink Floyd tribute band Brit Floyd, moving from No. 40 to No. 38 this week and Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Andersen, who moved up one position to No. 74.

Jamaica’s Toots & the Maytals enters the LIVE75 tally at No. 57 with a 100% sellout average from five shows which earns the ska / reggae band BREAKTHROUGH status this week.
The group is joined by comedian Theo Von and blues guitarist Jimmie Vaughan as the only artists in the lower 50 with attendance at 100% capacity for all of their reported shows in this week’s eligibility time period. Von scores the No. 58 ranking with four sellouts and Vaughan bows at No. 72 with three.
