Country star Luke Bryan detailed the lineup for his 11th annual “Farm” tour on Tuesday. The tour, which runs from Sept. 26 to Oct. 5, will feature Cole Swindell, Mitchell Tenpenny, The Peach Pickers and DJ Rock.
As usual, Bryan’s annual fall jaunt will take him to American farms he hasn’t played before. This year, those include Statz Bros. Farm (Sept. 26; Marshall, Wis.), Stafford Farms (Sept. 27; Richland, Mich.), Miller Family Farms (Sept. 28; Pleasantville, Ohio), MC Farms (Oct. 3; Louisburg, Kan.), Flying B Ranch (Oct. 4; Douglass, Kan.) and Adkins Farm (Oct. 5; Norman, Okla.).
“The idea behind this tour is to bring full production concerts to small towns that would not see larger scale shows,” Bryan said in a statement when the tour was announced in May. “Growing up in rural Georgia we had to drive to larger cities to see concerts. It is so exciting to watch each of these shows being built like a small city in itself in the empty pasture land of these farms. We can feel the pride from the people in these towns as well as the farmers and it takes everyone coming together to pull them off!!””
Still, Bryan hasn’t eschewed large cities. He kicked off his “Sunset Repeat” tour in late May, which will continue to take him to amphitheaters and arenas through the fall. In fact, after his brief string of farm dates, Bryan will return to the “Sunset Repeat” trail, concluding the tour with an Oct. 25 stadium show at Detroit’s Ford Field – almost exactly a year he moved 45,377 tickets and grossed $4.3 million at the same venue on Oct. 26, 2018.
Bryan even has dates lined up for 2020. He’ll stage Crash My Playa, his Mexican destination event, for a sixth consecutive year from Jan. 22-25, 2020. CID Entertainment, whose CID Presents arm spearheads Crash My Playa, will provide Harvest Time VIP Experiences for Bryan’s string of farm dates this fall.
Bryan’s 2019 continues a streak that has cemented him as one of the industry’s most consistently bankable performers. Bryan finished in the Top 40 of Pollstar’s Year End Top 100 Worldwide Tours chart every year since 2013, grossing $392.4 million over that period, according to Pollstar Boxoffice data. He grossed more than $70 million in three of the last four years, including a career-best $84.1 million in 2016.
Bryan is represented by WME’s Jay Williams and Red Light Management. Both Williams and Red Light founder Coran Capshaw were honored on Pollstar‘s inaugural Impact 50 list earlier this year.
